Rusty Greene serves as the Student Pastor at Midway Church in Villa Rica, Georgia. Rusty has been on staff since November 2000. He served as Children’s Pastor from November 2000 through July 2006 and as Junior High Pastor from August 2004 to 2010. His responsibilities include leading and participating in all activities for the 24/7 Student ministry (6th through the 12th grades.) These activities include Student LIFE Groups, Weekend activities, Wednesday night activities, Camps and other ministry related activities. Rusty also serves our technology team helping maintain our networks and computers.
Rusty grew up in Douglasville, Georgia before moving to Carrollton in 1979. He is a graduate of Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia. He was the small business owner and operator of Greene Video for 17 years prior to being called into full time ministry. His hobbies include web and graphic design, hunting, fishing, spending time with family and working with students.
Rusty married his wife Cindy in May 1991. They have one daughter, Jessica and a son, Taylor. The Greene’s enjoy serving together as a family here at Midway.
