Membership
means something at Midway. We believe it is a high honor to
be a part of the body of Christ and serve in the local
church. Midway isn't looking for more people to fill the
pews ... we're looking for people who want to honor Jesus
and serve Him until He returns.
What it Means to be a Member at Midway
The
difference between “attenders” and “members” can be summed
up in one word:
Commitment.
4 Reasons for Church Membership
1. A Biblical
Reason: Christ is committed to the church.
2. A Cultural
Reason: It is an antidote to our society.
3. A Practical
Reason: It defines who can be counted on.
4. A Personal
Reason: It produces spiritual growth.
Membership Responsibilities
We believe
the church will only be as effective as each individual
member. Therefore, each member is challenged to live out
these 5 expectations we call 5 Star
Membership.

How To
Join MMBC
- Our
Church receives members by ONE of the following
methods.
1.
BAPTISM: Those persons who have prayed and trusted Jesus
Christ as their Lord and Savior and desire to obey Christ by
being scripturally baptized by immersion.
2.
LETTER FROM ANOTHER BAPTIST CHURCH: Those persons who
have already trusted Christ, and have been scripturally
baptized by immersion, and are members in good standing of
another Baptist Church which will transfer their letter to
Midway Macedonia. (Midway’s Church Clerk will handle the
request.)
3.
STATEMENT OF FAITH: Those persons who have trusted
Christ as their Savior and have been scripturally baptized
after salvation but are not member of another Baptist Church
or whose former church does not respond to our request.
