Jonathan Underwood has been serving on staff at Midway since July 1st of 2007. His primary responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of all media related equipment and functions.
Jonathan grew up in Douglasville, Georgia and developed an interest in sound at a very early age. He began playing drums at the age of 5 and continues to pursue music as one of his main passions in life today. He began his ministry at First Baptist Church of Douglasville, remaining very active in the youth program there even today. At the age of 18 he had the unique opportunity to minister through song with a national recording company based out of Nashville, Tennessee.
In October of 2005, he married his now wife, Anne Marie who is a graduate of North Georgia College and now holds a teaching position at Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville. She is very active in many ministries at Midway. A few months later he was introduced to a friend in the A/V Production industry who offered him a position in audio. Jonathan accepted and began learning the trade. Jonathan came to Midway in the spring of 2007, accepting an offer for the multimedia position he serves in today and looks forward to what the Lord has in store for the future.
