Hal Waters is a Georgia native from Forest Park. He has spent a majority of his career as a Power House Engineer for Ford Motor Company prior to joining the team at Midway. He has served on the team at Midway since 2001. Hal's first love is sharing the love of Christ with people in the community and/or on the other side of the world. Second, he loves disciplining others and mentoring them to become a fully devoted follower of Christ with the end result that they make disciples and the cycles starts all over.
As a life long learner, Hal is finishing his work toward a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Once he is finished with his BacMin, his plans are to continue his graduate work, focusing on leadership development. He has previously served as Outreach/Evangelism Pastor, Singles Pastor, Externally Focused Ministries, LIFE Groups leader, and a verity of other areas.
Hal and Michelle have been married since 1995. They are the parents of Emily, Madison, and twin boys, Austin and Payton. They love spending time together as a family especially if it's around water and the outdoors. Michelle loves cooking, gardening, and serving her family! Hal loves running, hanging out with family, and friends, and reading a good book. |
